Apparently Mythic has had a "minor" billing snafu.

If you haven't heard, and for some reason you still check here. Double check your statement. You -may- have gotten charged multiple times that you will need to get fixed asap. This applies both to current and closed accounts, as a buddy of mine's WAR account got charged multiple times despite not playing since last August.

I might have gotten lucky since my bank changed names since I closed my WAR account. But just a heads up for anyone else.

(i admit i checked here today just to make sure the site was still up, the bill was due the 10th and i haven't seen the charge on any cards yet.... and before ya get all sappy on me the main reason i still pay the money for the site is because i use it for distribution of pics/movies to the family... although <Bellatrix the greats love slave> is pretty slow at putting pics up.... www.rangerbrigade.com/Gallery ... www.rangerbrigade.com/videos in case anyone wants to see what the spawn of <most awesome person in the whole world> and <Bellatrix the greats love slave> looks like)

Honestly.. I check in rarely. Dunno about others. And man, those two are getting big. Oh how much snow was that? It doesn't look like too much, specially compared to the 26+ inches we got in one night this winter. (was over 44 inches with the snow drifts in my back yard)

The news was saying something like 4.5 feet was the snowfall around christmas.

But here in oklahoma trying to measure snow is more an art (it's a very rare day that the wind is blowing less then 20mph) So lotsa places there was just a coating, and in others it was a pretty deep drift.

The bad part about it was that it was snow at all this far south is a problem... but this one in particular it started raining christmas eve morning at about 8:00am, around 10:00am changed to freezing rain, then around noon to snow. So under the snow was a nice ice coat, and lotsa idiots not watching the news went shopping. about 2:00pm the state police announced they were no longer responding to any accident (injury or not), and that if you were out it was your problem. So around 3:00pm retailers saw the snow and started shutting down, kicking shoppers out of the malls into the mess... the shoppers didn't even realize there was a mess...

I remember the 5:00 local news going nuts about the whole thing... and at 5:29 saying they were stopping the storm coverage, and going to proceed with the scheduled programming of its 'a wonderful life'. but before they switched they announced there was a big crash at a highway intersection and even more cars backed up unable to get through, and that they were getting calls from motorists stuck there wanting someone to bring them gas to run the cars... and that was all.

local newspapers the next few days ran many stories of peeps all over town that had some incredibly imprortant thing to do and were out and about and got stuck and just walked to the nearest house and asked to stay the night. Something like 5 people died. All struck by cars after they stopped to help someone else.... was kinda sad to see all the idiots live, and all the good samaritans die.

Hey, just got around to having time to sit down and look at some of the pics. I'm glad to see you guys all look like you're doing well. Man the kids are huge. Give <Bellatrix the greats love slave> my best and make sure you keep those kids in line.....it's getting rough keeping our 10yr old and 8yr old straight on who the boss is /sigh....dreading it when the 2yr old gets up there since she's already learning from them lol.

You mean your wife hasn't proved she is the boss yet? Or are you the one causing the confusion.

Nice pics. As far as the snow, that sounds like a normality around here (besides the part of everything shutting down, only thing that shuts down like that are schools).

yeah... it wasn't that much foot wise from a northern storm... the difference is...

that was about 50% of the yearly snowfall in one weekend (the other 50% came in a storm in early feb)
There is only something like 5 snowplows/spreaders for the whole city/county.
and this was the really nasty part...
THe first inch or two that came down was ice/freezing rain, then it finally cooled off enough to just snow. So underneath all that snow you'd hit a layer of solid ice. Was nasty stuff.
